Description
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is a technique used in molecular biology to make millions of copies of DNA.
PCR is now a common and used in clinical and research laboratories for a broad variety of applications.
Real- time PCR monitors the process of amplification in real time using fluorescence; not only at the end of
the reaction as occurs in conventional PCR Digital PCR is a quantitative method that provides a sensitive
way of measuring the amount of DNA in a sample. Photomultiplier tube (PMT),
SiPM(MPPC) and CMOS camera are mainly considered for the fluorescence detection system.
