| Ronen Hagag began his career in the Israeli Navy and served as a commanding officer of a Patrol Boat, Fast missile boat, Saar 5 corvette, and squadron commander. In 2006, Ronen Graduated from the US Naval war college. In 2015, he was promoted to a Navy Captain and appointed as the head of the Training and Doctrine department in the Israeli headquarters. His last assignment in the Navy was as the Israeli Naval Attaché in Washington DC, and he retired from the army with the rank of captain.
